Lisa Edelstein, an American actress who is best recognized for her role in House which is a Fox medical drama series. As a child of very strict Jewish upbringing the actress moved from Wayne into New York City when she was just 18 years old to go to the Tisch School of Arts. She became very involved with the clubs in New York City, and was able to be heard from the news media. In the meantime she began to become aware of AIDS' devastating effects. She eventually used her experience and her fame in order to write and compose a musical titled Positive Me which she played a role in. Awake on the Wild Side was her next assignment. She began to appear in television and film productions after the series ended. Initially, she was she appeared in small roles.
