Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy was born in Miami Florida on 16 April 1996. Dennis Alan Taylor is a retired banker, and Jennifer Marina Joy is a psychologist. The father of her is Argentine and Scottish English descent. Her mother's heritage is Spanish as well as English. Taylor-Joy is the youngest of five children. Four come from her father's previous marriage. The family was within Buenos Aires until she was six then relocated to the Victoria area in London. Taylor-Joy claims that the move to London was traumatizing and that she was unable to study English to avoid moving back to Argentina. The school she attended had to be changed between Northlands in order to attend Hill House. In the following years, she attended Queen's Gate School and studied ballet. After 16 she quit school in order to take on acting as a profession. Taylor-Joy had always wanted to be an actor. At the age of 16, Sarah Doukas Founder of Storm Management gave her the possibility to become a model.
